Over 10 years in the painting industry has given me hands-on expertise with virtually every type of residential painting project. I'm proficient with HVLP spray systems for flawless cabinet finishes, conventional sprayers for large surfaces, and airless equipment for efficient exterior work. But I also know when a brush and roller are the right tools for the job — and that's more often than you'd think.
Beyond technical skills, I've developed a deep understanding of color theory, surface preparation, and the products that perform best in Colorado's unique climate. Our high altitude, intense UV exposure, and dramatic temperature swings demand specific approaches, and I've spent years learning what works and what doesn't at our elevation.
I'm also passionate about texture matching for drywall repair — it's a skill that many painters treat as an afterthought, but I consider it an art form. Matching an existing wall texture so the repair is truly invisible takes patience, practice, and pride in the craft. It's one of the things our clients appreciate most.
